Of course you've got to go with JGB for serious gospel (no more time right now or I'd list them ... Who Was John for instance, or Gomorrah).

I know what you mean about JGB. My favorite Dead-family gospel tune was Charles Johnson's "My Sisters & My Brothers"
the Garcia covered ~200 times. Anybody got a favorite performance?

I love 'Sisters and Brotehrs'....the best version I've evrr heard is from the official 'PURE JERRY' release from a 1977 show...forget the exact date...but the performance is flawless--even Donna sounds amazing on it...and it's just so sweet it'll bring tears to your eyes.
